How can you clean & charge gemstones?

There are various methods to cleanse and charge gemstones, make sure that the gemstones always have their original, pure energy. First of all, it is important that you do this by feeling. In addition, you cannot treat every gemstone the same. It is important to cleanse and charge a gemstone after you have purchased it or received it from someone. NB; It is also important to do this if people have held your stones. The energy of other people, locations, etc. can be in the gemstone and you do not want to carry that with you. Your gemstones may be energetically contaminated.

Most people adhere to a standard, if it has been used for a treatment or during a meditation, the stones must be cleaned immediately afterwards. You don't want to carry that energy into the next day.

The first way is water. Hold under lukewarm running water for five minutes or place in a bowl of spring water for 24 hours. Which method is best to cleanse and charge my gemstones?

This is a difficult question, as everyone prefers a different method. I personally like the combination of hematite and rock crystal, which is what my rings and pendants go in. First they lie in the hematite and then in the rock crystal.

I also really like the selenite, it sits on my bedside table and I put the larger gemstones on it when they need to be cleaned or charged. It is also a sleep stone, making this a helpful factor in the bedroom.

When I have given a treatment or ceremony I often use Sage or Palo Santo smoke. I place the gemstones that have been on or against a body on a slightly larger piece of selenite.
